Our Name, Acera Technologies

Many clients ask us where the name ACERA comes from. As mentioned previously, we have been providing web hosting and designing solutions since 1997. At the time, everyone called the Internet the "Super Information Highway." The word 'Acera' in Acera Technologies (our company name) refers to the known word in spanish that means Highway. The Internet is the only entity that allows us to instantly travel down a 'highway of sorts' where we can see and read what is happening all over the world. Isn't it amazing that when we think of traveling more than a decade after our company inception that the first thing that comes to our mind is traveling through the technologies of the Super information Highway?
