When I decided my business needed a website, I found that everyone I know is an expert websiteologist: "Do it yourself" , "My brother's son has a web business in his basement", etc. Then I checked the Yellow Pages--most website designers I called were out of business. A few had answering machines but didn't return my calls. Then there was the bucket of bucks guys; it went something like this: "Figure at least $1000 to start, a shopping cart? That's another $1000. Pictures? That's another up." Those "Ups" went on and on.
One day I came upon an advertisement for Acera Technologies. Truthfully, I was attracted by the prices and decided to check it out. I called Acera and had an informative conversation with Craig. He listened to my thoughts and suggested I email him any copy or ideas I had. The big question--How long will it take? My site will need changes as my company grows. It started with 3 pages. Since then I 've added pages. I outline my thoughts and Craig takes it from there. I have ended up with a first class website at very reasonable prices! Best of all, I have Acera to back me up as my company's web presence grows.
